Aussie youth say "g'day" to respect & "see ya later" to domestic violence.

Remember last year, when our building—as part of the Lendlease Workplaces Portfolio—collectively donated $20,000 to the Walk the Talk program?

Well, the social impact results are in, and they're pretty remarkable.

The Women's Community Shelters' (WCS) Walk the Talk initiative, which educates young people about domestic violence awareness, has knocked it out of the park this year. They've reached over 4,000 students in 2024—that's a whopping 40% increase from last year! But it gets even better. Our collective donation helped expand the program to two more Sydney schools and kickstarted it in Victoria!

At Camden and Kogarah High Schools, students didn't just learn about respectful relationships; they rolled up their sleeves and actively supported local women's shelters. And the feedback? Very positive. We're talking nearly perfect ratings across the board, with one student even giving it a "1000/10".  In their words: "WOW today was AMAZING. I honestly hope every single student learns what we did today." We reckon that's the kind of enthusiasm that changes the world.

But why stop here? Lendlease Workplaces is on the lookout for more game-changing initiatives. They've just opened up new grant submissions for not-for-profits, which close on Thursday, 31 October.

Spread the word to a worthy cause.
