Reconciliation through conversation

As part of National Reconciliation Week, we're exploring
reconciliation through conversation.

One of the best ways we can work together towards reconciliation is by simply listening.

Take some time to watch the thought- provoking video below, where you'll discover a candid conversation between First Nations business owner, Troy Benjamin, and Regional Social Impact Manager for Victoria at Lendlease, Jacquelin Saultry.

About the speakers

Troy Benjamin
Troy Benjamin is a Tati Tati, Wadi Wadi, Muti Muti and Wamba Wamba man, raised in Geelong on Wautharong Country. Troy is the founder and operator of Blak Brews, serving great-tasting, ethically sourced tea made from native Australian ingredients. Troy was crowned winner of the 2024 season of Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars.

Jacquelin Saultry
Jacqui is the Regional Social Impact Manager for Victoria at Lendlease and is responsible for social impact initiatives and outcomes, managing all aspects of project development from bid stage through to implementation.

Jacqui believes that projects offer significant opportunities to establish bold objectives relating to socio-economic development. Both in the way the infrastructure supports people and communities at completion and in the way the infrastructure is delivered to leave a lasting legacy. Jacqui is committed to creating positive social outcomes and brings her passion of making an impact on people’s lives to large scale mixed-use projects she works across. Jacqui believes that Social Impact creates an opportunity to enrich the project, foster ongoing relationships, create positive social
outcomes and cultivate a vibrant and resilient community.

Reconciliation NSW is the peak body for reconciliation in NSW. It undertakes projects and events at a state level and also works with community, government and non-government organisations. Its purpose is to advance reconciliation in NSW by promoting equitable and just communities that acknowledge and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and values.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

In line with The Community Gaming Act 2018 and the Community Gaming Regulation 2020 started on 1 July 2020, we outline the “rules” of this competition as follows. When you enter one of our competitions, we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them.

1. Competition is open to members of Lendlease Office Portfolio, which includes Amica.
2. Only one entry per person unless otherwise stated.
3. The closing date is as specified in each competition, and the Building Management Team reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time. The winner will be drawn at random at this time and contacted shortly thereafter.
4. By entering the competition, the winner agrees to participate in any such promotional activity and material as the Building Management Team may require.
5. No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
6. The total prize pool is valued at $4,400.   Prizes are 11 First Nations prize packs valued at $400 each. 
7. If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
8. Each competition will have clear guidelines and or instructions on how to compete or register to win.
9. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.
10. Distribution and or collection of prizes will be coordinated by a member of the Building Management Team.
11. The Building Management Team reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. The Building Management Team may also create rules which will apply to a specific competition only. If we do this, then we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page.
12. Under NSW Law this competition does not require a permit.
