Men have higher rates of premature death and unhealthy behaviours, according to the World Health Organisation and through listening to the compelling stories of our panellists we aim to evoke the desired change to help men realise the importance of seeking support and looking after their health.
Men's Health Week is a significant event aimed at raising awareness of preventable health issues and encouraging early detection and treatment of diseases among men and boys. Established in 1994, this week emphasises the importance of a healthy lifestyle, regular medical check-ups, and proactive management of health conditions. It serves as a reminder for men to take charge of their health and for families, communities, and healthcare providers to support men's health initiatives.

More about Barry Du Bois
Many will recognize Barry as the co-host of the Logie award-winning lifestyle TV show The Living Room, alongside Amanda Keller, Miguel Maestre, and Dr. Chris Brown. They brought energy, entertainment, and fun to living rooms every Friday night on Channel Ten and his specialty in that role was design and renovation, and for 13 years, he crafted and shared design theories and renovation processes to empower viewers.
During that time, he also shared his own life experiences with mental health and cancer, using his media platform to empower others to bounce back from adversity, embrace change, and cultivate a positive mindset for personal transformation.
He is a proud board member of RUOK Day and a Leukaemia Foundation ambassador. He has become a sought-after keynote speaker and coach specializing in resilience, thriving after adversity, and motivation.
His working life started in the building and design industry, where he had 35 successful years as a builder. He served for four years as president of the Master Builders Association of Australia and provided services as a building project manager, consultant, and expert witness.
He proudly and passionately uses a lifetime of education and experiences to make other people's journeys the best they can be.
Men's Shed Australia 
A Men’s Shed plays an important role in the prevention of social isolation and the promotion of positive health and wellbeing amongst men by providing a safe, friendly and welcoming place for men to work on meaningful projects and contribute to their community. The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the peak representative body for Men’s Sheds across Australia, and leads the international development of Men's Sheds across the world. AMSA operates on the principle of sharing information for the establishment and ongoing sustainability of men’s sheds – to advance the wellbeing and health of men’s shed members.

In line with The Community Gaming Act 2018 and the Community Gaming Regulation 2020 started on 1 July 2020, we outline the “rules” of this competition as follows. When you enter one of our competitions, we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them.

- Registered attendees who sign in on the day can enter the competition once only.
- The closing date is as specified in each competition, and International Towers reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.
- By entering the competition, the winner agrees to participate in any such promotional activity and material as International Towers may require.
- No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
- There are 4 prizes in total.
