International Day of Peace, observed annually on September 21, is dedicated to promoting peace and non-violence worldwide. Established by the United Nations in 1981, the day encourages individuals, communities, and nations to work toward ending conflict and fostering harmony.
Each year, a specific theme is chosen, highlighting global peace-building efforts and advocating for solutions to reduce violence, promote tolerance, and create a more inclusive and sustainable world. By promoting peace, we also advocate for the responsible stewardship of natural resources, ensuring a balanced, just, and sustainable future for generations to come.
Sustainability is a core value at International Towers, and we are excited to announce the return of CandleXchange for another candle-pouring workshop, marking a special occasion dedicated to sustainability.

CandleXchange was born in early 2021 with the aim of reducing the waste generated by 4 million single-use candles sold in Australia every year. The CandleXchange model enables customers to exchange their used candle container for a new candle at a reduced cost, approximately 40% cheaper than buying a new one. CandleXchange delivers environmental benefits by reusing the containers to make more candles, using natural ingredients to create an even, clean, and safe burn as well as with reusable or biodegradable packaging.
