This International Women's Day, we're asking you to make your mark.

We've partnered with Elizabeth Arden to celebrate a pivotal moment in women's rights history.

Red lipstick's journey in feminism is complex, but we're reclaiming its powerful origins from Fifth Avenue, 1912.

By focusing on its role in women's liberation, we celebrate its true heritage as a tool for change, distinct from the nuanced beauty standard it later became. This return to its roots allows us to appreciate the courage and unity of those early activists who transformed a simple action (wearing red lips) into a powerful emblem of the fight for equality.

From Tuesday 4 to Thursday 6 March visit our newsstand in the Lobby to:

  1. Collect your Arden Mail. (Some contain surprise lipsticks!)
  2. Receive a red lip application at our lip lab or in the coming days claim a lip-shaped pin.
  3. Capture the moment with a photo on one of our polaroid cameras.

We encourage you to participate by wearing red lipstick, a lip-shaped pin, or simply joining the conversation. Each choice celebrates over a century of progress while recognising the ongoing journey towards gender parity.

Curious about our community's ideas on fast-tracking gender parity? Read more below.

Let's celebrate how far we've come and recognise the work still ahead. Because, let's face it, equality looks good on everyone.
