Travelling to and from International Towers
International Towers is on track to become one of the most accessible business precincts in Sydney, with easy and convenient proximity to all forms of public transport, as well as private vehicles, bicycles and taxis.
The recently opened Wynyard Walk has made the Barangaroo precinct a five-minute, fully accessible undercover walk to Wynyard station, with no road crossings or steep inclines. The 180-metre underground walkway was several years in the making, weaving through a complex web of heritage and contemporary underground services and existing CBD infrastructure to create a seamless connection between Sydney’s newest neighbourhood and one of the city’s busiest transport hubs.
Wynyard Walk not only provides quick access to hard rail, and the future light rail system - currently under construction within the CBD - but delivers an easy walk to George Street and the Martin Place precinct.
A dedicated ferry terminal at Barangaroo is on schedule to open late 2017, connecting Barangaroo to both the East and North ferry routes, and new bus routes along Hickson Road delivering passengers directly to International Towers are now operational.
In addition, world-class end of trip facilities for cyclists, two new overhead pedestrian bridges and new taxi ranks within the precinct ensure workers and visitors the most complete and convenient access possible to International Towers.
