There’s a reason this joint is called Sax - if you’re lucky when you next visit in the evening there’ll be a talented musician playing live saxophone in the background. We unanimously agree there’s no better pairing for their sophisticated cocktails, delicious sharing plates and low lit atmosphere.
From the early hours to the evenings Sax is a laid back cafe and lounge bar, serving strong coffee, brunch classics and everything you need to start your day off right. At lunch menu highlights include the lobster ravioli and the zucchini flowers (which are quickly becoming one of the best reviewed dishes in Sydney).
But then, when the sun goes down, Sax transforms. Often there’s a slick operator serenading diners with live saxophone, and there’s always a couple of talented bartenders shaking something delicious. In the cosy lounge and the starlit courtyard you’ll sip some of Sydney’s best cocktails.
